Jeff Hartzer is a poet, writer, teacher, artist, photographer, and web designer who resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife, Debra Landau, and their Schipperke dogs. He is the creator of BunnytownUSA and the author of FLAMINGOS. Jeff serves as the Executive Director of the AirDanceArtSpace, home to the critically acclaimed aerial dance troupe, AirDance New Mexico. The AirDance ArtSpace is burgeoning into the Southwest's Center for Aerial Dance.
Jeff Hartzer and Debra Landau are the Creative Partners of Aquila Arts LLC as well as owners of the AirDance ArtSpace LLC. Jeff is a Florida native who migrated to the Pacific Northwest before settling into the high desert of New Mexico.
From 1973-2000, Jeff Hartzer pursued a career in education holding certified teaching positions at: The Bolles School (where he also served as Dean of Students), Tacoma Public Schools and Albuquerque Public Schools. He also offers workshops to the public sector in creative writing. From 1985-2000 in Albuquerque with APS, Jeff served as a Native American Tutor, Teacher of the Gifted and Talented at Van Buren Middle School and Rio Grande High School. He also taught at Earthsong School (An Albuquerque Waldorf School), and was Educational Liaison for the Villa Santa Maria of Cedar Crest, New Mexico. Jeff is the Executive Director of the AirDance ArtSpace

Jeff is a South Broadway neighborhood homeowner (1993-) and a South Valley Business Owner (1999-). He is a graduate of both the Albuquerqe Police Department's Citizens Police Academy and the Bernallilo County Sheriff's Citizen Academy. He is an active member of Albuquerque's Emergency Management C.E.R.T. program (Community Emergency Response Team), and has served as a Volunteer for the U.N.M.H. Emergency Department. Jeff Hartzer is an ordained minister and occasional wedding officiant. He does not own a yacht.
